Boeing Co. has received a $213 million contract modification from the U.S. Department of Defense to support the reconfiguration of four P-8A multi-mission maritime aircraft for a foreign military customer under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program.
The modification expands the scope of work to include the procurement of non-standard engineering solutions for reconfiguring aircraft previously purchased by the customer through the FMS program. The work entails modifying the aircraft to meet the customer’s specific operational requirements.
Boeing will perform 91% of the work in Seattle, Washington, and 9% in Huntington Beach, California. Contract completion is expected by December 2031.
The Department of Defense will obligate $74,895,757 in FMS customer funds at the time of award. The contract was awarded on a sole-source basis.
The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity for this cost-plus-fixed-fee modification (P00010) to contract N0001924C0025.
