A Ukrainian man has been arrested in Croatia in connection with the 2022 sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines. German prosecutors have identified the individual as Vladimir Z. and allege that he was part of a group responsible for planting explosives near the Danish island of Bornholm. The suspect is described as a trained scuba diver who participated in the underwater operations. A European arrest warrant had been issued earlier, and local police in Pula carried out the detention. German authorities are now pursuing his extradition.
