According to a new rumor, the key feature of the upcoming iPhone 18 series will be exclusive to the most expensive model—the iPhone 18 Pro Max. This feature is a variable-aperture camera.
Insider Ice Universe states that such a system requires extra internal space, which is “precisely what the larger Pro Max body offers.” Even the iPhone 18 Pro isn’t large enough. In addition to camera upgrades, rumors suggest the new smartphones will feature a faster A20 Pro processor and larger batteries.
Incidentally, back in 2023, the iPhone 15 Pro Max received a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, whereas the iPhone 15 Pro was limited to 3x zoom.
The official unveiling of the new series is expected next month.
