The lineup for the main stage of the 2026/27 UEFA Europa League has been confirmed.
The final matches of the tournament’s qualifying play-off round took place on Thursday.
Pot 1 includes: Bayer (Germany), Benfica (Portugal), Juventus and Milan (both Italy), Lyon (France), AZ (Netherlands), Olympiacos (Greece), Real Sociedad (Spain), and Marseille (France);
Pot 2: Ferencváros (Hungary), Viktoria (Czech Republic), Union and Anderlecht (both Belgium), Dinamo (Croatia), Salzburg (Austria), Celtic (Scotland), Sparta (Czech Republic), and Rennes (France);
Pot 3: Sturm (Austria), Lech (Poland), Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, and Sunderland (all England), Celje (Slovenia), Jagiellonia (Poland), Omonia (Cyprus), and Celta (Spain);
Pot 4: Hoffenheim (Germany), Beşiktaş (Turkey), Torreense (Portugal), Hapoel (Be’er Sheva, Israel), NEC (Netherlands), OFI (Greece), Lillestrøm (Norway), Levski (Bulgaria), and Ararat-Armenia (Armenia).
The draw for the main stage will take place on August 28 in Monaco. The 2026/27 Europa League final will take place on May 26 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Thirty-six teams will compete in the Europa League main stage. Following the draw, each participant will play eight matches against eight different opponents. Teams will be assigned two opponents from each pot, playing one at home and the other away. The top eight teams from the main stage will advance directly to the Round of 16, while teams finishing between 9th and 24th place will compete in an additional knockout round.
