The wave of heists seen in France has reached Spain; one of the most significant Bronze Age hoards has vanished in just four minutes.
Thieves broke into the museum in the city of Villena and made off with 59 unique items dating back more than three thousand years. Their haul included bowls, bracelets, and other ornaments—totaling around ten kilograms of gold.
Experts believe that some of the artifacts may have been crafted from meteoric iron.
Police are now searching for the thieves, fearing that the priceless artifacts could disappear into private collections.
It is worth noting that jewel thieves at the Louvre also managed to pull off their heist in just four minutes.
