No Longer a Mystery
Android users have started noticing an unfamiliar app called “Android Pulse” on their smartphones—one that appeared on its own. Google has now officially clarified the situation.
The company explained that Pulse is an internal system service that monitors the device’s “health.” It checks that everything is functioning correctly and helps detect potential issues early on. Previously, this process ran invisibly in the background, but a recent update made it visible to users.
As the company noted, there is no cause for concern. The app runs in the background and requires no user intervention.
