38-year-old Amanda Coates has shared details about her life with her husband, Dennis, and her best friend, Victoria. Their story was published by Jam Press.
According to Amanda, Victoria became part of their family by chance. After a divorce, Victoria found herself in a difficult situation, so Amanda invited her to live with her and Dennis. At the time, the couple had been together for 13 years and were considering an open marriage. Amanda revealed that she was the one who encouraged her husband to pursue a relationship with her friend.
The women say they are comfortable sharing a husband. However, they acknowledge that this type of relationship isn’t for everyone. They sleep together in the same bed and raise eight children collectively. Both Amanda and Victoria have children from previous marriages as well as children with Dennis. “Sometimes I even forget who gave birth to whom because I treat all the children the same,” Amanda admitted.
She emphasized that she is not in a romantic relationship with her friend. “Victoria is my heterosexual life partner, my counterpart, and my lifelong best friend,” she added.
Amanda admitted that she was initially jealous of the bond between her husband and her friend, but they have since learned to resolve conflicts through communication. “We are a team, and we strive to function as a team. The family’s well-being is our collective priority,” she explained.
Previously, twin sisters from Brazil, Laila Alves and Lara Alves Rueda, revealed that they have been sharing a husband for six years. Every night, the man alternates which of the two he sleeps with.
