Mark Zuckerberg surprised the Meta Connect audience by unveiling Muse Charm — a dedicated hardware device for interacting with Meta’s Muse AI assistant. Roughly the size of a palm and wearable as a keychain, the gadget features a 2-inch touch OLED display showing a digital AI avatar named Jolly, a fingerprint scanner on the side for instant activation, a camera, and three microphones. The design uses semi-transparent materials in a techno-aesthetic style.
Muse Charm allows users to start conversations with the AI by simply touching the fingerprint sensor — no phone unlock or app launch needed. The device can “see” the user’s surroundings and discuss what’s in view, making it a compelling alternative to smart glasses for those who don’t wear them. Zuckerberg described it as “the fastest way to talk to your Muse.” The device is still in development, with shipments planned for the December 2026 holiday season. Pricing has not yet been announced.
