Google Search has undergone a major update, where its AI mode can now not only find information but also carry out real tasks. In the U.S., this new feature is connected with third-party services like YouTube Music, Canva, and Instacart. This was reported by Prokazan.
How does this work? Instead of designing something yourself in Canva, you simply type a query into the search bar like: “create a bright tropical-style party invitation for next Saturday.” The AI then sends the request to the app and delivers the finished result in just a few seconds.
The process is similar for music: you can ask it to put together a playlist for a barbecue or a workout, and YouTube Music will automatically compile it and save it to your library. If you need to buy groceries, Search will fill your cart in Instacart according to your list, leaving you only to confirm the order.
For now, only three apps are available, but Google plans to expand its list of partners. The update has already launched in the U.S.
