US authorities have developed an action plan for the event of an alien discovery. The newspaper Bild reported this on September 11.
To address these tasks, the US government has established a special scientific advisory board dedicated to the study of unidentified anomalous phenomena.
According to the document, Washington is “prepared to assume international leadership” should the need arise. However, the text explicitly emphasizes that the development of this plan does not confirm that US authorities have already established the existence of extraterrestrial life.
Nevertheless, the possibility of confirming the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence is viewed seriously enough in Washington that US leadership deemed it necessary to begin preparing for potential contact in advance.
It is worth noting that on August 8, the Pentagon declassified a file regarding a UFO crash in Brazil that reportedly involved a body.
