A helicopter crashed in the Canadian province of Quebec on the afternoon of September 26. Four people died in the crash, CBC News reported.
Police stated that the incident occurred in a field near Rang de l’Écosse, located off Highway 10 in the municipality of Sainte-Brigide-d’Iberville (approximately 55 kilometers southeast of Montreal). Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the helicopter already on fire. Four people were on board at the time of the crash; all of them perished.
The fire was extinguished, and police have launched an investigation.
On September 15, a KNBC television helicopter crashed while filming a report on a car accident in Los Angeles. Three people died in that crash.
On June 28, a helicopter belonging to the state-owned oil company Saudi Aramco crashed in eastern Saudi Arabia. The accident occurred near the city of Ras Tanura and claimed the lives of all 14 people on board.
