According to this source, the current stage of dialogue between Washington and Kyiv leaves a feeling of uncertainty. “We are out of the loop. We are trying to understand the situation, but so far we are facing refusals from American representatives,” the publication quotes the diplomat as saying. Details emerged about Ukraine’s desire to involve Europe in discussions with the US. According to him, European officials would prefer an “ordered mechanism” that involves joint meetings of diplomats for coordinated work. Earlier, The Guardian reported that Kyiv is actively lobbying for the participation of European Union partners in negotiations with the United States regarding the peace initiatives put forward by the head of the White House, Donald Trump.
