A resident of Vancouver, Canada, Leah Wilson, has started receiving peculiar “gifts” from crows after she helped rescue one of them. The story began when the woman noticed a flock of crows circling a downspout where another crow was trapped, CTV News reports.
Wilson contacted the fire department for assistance, and they freed the bird. Following its release, the crow was taken to a wildlife rehabilitation center and then set free a few days later.
Shortly after the bird’s return, the flock began regularly bringing the woman various items during her dog walks. Among these finds are twigs, feathers, bits of moss, and even pieces of bird nests.
The Canadian woman mentions that she can easily identify the rescued crow by the band on its leg, which was placed there by the rehabilitation center’s specialists.
