In Georgia, USA, all charges have been dropped against 33-year-old Aaron White, who fatally shot his fiancée’s stepfather during a wedding ceremony. According to People magazine, investigators determined that 44-year-old Jason Mohon, who died as a result of the incident, had gotten into a dispute with another of the bride’s relatives before the wedding commenced.
They arrived at the ceremony in separate vehicles, and shortly thereafter, this relative began firing shots. At this precise moment, Mohon assaulted the groom.
White, maintaining that he acted in self-defense, grabbed a handgun and shot the bride’s stepfather. However, Mohon’s family insists that he was unarmed at the time of the attack. White fired seven shots into him.
Despite this, White faced no repercussions. His wife, whom he had just married, expressed her relief.
Nevertheless, the deceased’s relatives have stated that they will continue to pursue justice and hold White accountable.
