In the Japanese city of Nagoya, a 23-year-old woman lost her life after a man fell from a height and landed on her, as reported by The Mainichi.
According to police, Hora Inaba was walking down the street with an acquaintance when 29-year-old Shinsei Taguchi fell onto her from a 12-story residential building. Medical staff were unable to save the woman—she died from her injuries. The man survived, but remains in critical condition and is unconscious.
The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation. Authorities are looking into how the man ended up on the building’s rooftop and what caused him to fall.
