The Danish Football Union has issued a statement concerning the incident involving footballer Christian Eriksen. The organization announced that Eriksen has regained consciousness.
It was previously reported that Christian Eriksen collapsed during a friendly match against Ukraine. The game was halted as a result.
“Christian Eriksen is awake and in stable condition, all things considered,” the statement reads.
At the time the match was stopped, the Danish national team was leading with a score of 2:1. Both teams mutually agreed not to resume play.
