Insider Digital Chat Station has reported that an engineering prototype of a future flagship smartphone, which will utilize a system-on-a-chip manufactured using a 2nm process, is currently being tested with one of the most powerful cameras available on the market.
According to the source, the smartphone is set to feature three 200-megapixel image sensors. Hopefully, this unusual configuration will make it to mass production unchanged.
If plans hold steady, the device is expected to be unveiled as early as September or October. Which manufacturer is involved has not yet been disclosed.
Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately reveal the specifications of the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro, as well as the news that the Realme GT 7 Pro would feature a vibrant Samsung display and that the Dimensity 9400 SoC would launch before the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
