U.S. President Donald Trump has suggested that Vice President J.D. Vance might opt out of a future presidential bid, noting that it remains unclear who exactly might vie for the nation’s highest office.
“We discuss many things, but we’ll see what happens. No one knows who is going to run. There could be many candidates—perhaps a great many. Or, it’s possible that no one will run at all. He might not run, either. I don’t know who will participate in the [next presidential] election,” Trump told reporters.
