In his opinion, Apple was forced to take this step to buy time for the development of its own comprehensive AI strategy, based on its own server chips and a fully controlled infrastructure. Kuo believes that Apple faced the urgent need to showcase AI progress at WWDC and meet the increased user expectations driven by the rapid development of cloud systems.
