It is now official news that the final of the Copa del Rey will be rescheduled. Previously, as we reported, the event planned for April 25th in Seville unexpectedly encountered complications. Now, the president of the Spanish Football Federation, Rafael Louzan, has confirmed that the King’s Cup final will be postponed. Most likely, it will take place one week prior to the originally planned date—meaning on the 18th instead of the 25th of April. To recall, Real Madrid has already exited the King’s Cup, having been defeated by Albacete. This modest club will now face Barcelona, the reigning champion of the tournament, in the quarter-finals.
