On this day, May 16th, Al-Nassr failed to secure the title in the AFC Champions League 2. In the final match, the Saudi team faced Gamba Osaka from Japan, ultimately losing by a score of 0-1.
The members of the Saudi club were presented with silver medals. Nevertheless, Cristiano Ronaldo was noticeably absent from the presentation proceedings.
It was previously reported that this marks the 14th instance where Cristiano Ronaldo has been unable to lift a trophy while playing for Al-Nassr.
