
Pavel Dorofeyev, a Russian forward for the Vegas Golden Knights, scored a goal in the opening game of their series against the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL playoffs semifinals.
This goal brings the Russian player’s tally to ten goals in 13 playoff games. Consequently, Dorofeyev has surpassed his teammate, Canadian forward Brett Howden (who has nine goals), and now stands alone as the leading goal scorer in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The game itself concluded with a 4-2 victory for Vegas. This win gives the team a 1-0 lead in the series.
