A tourist vacationing in Cyprus ended up in a local hospital where his heart was removed. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on December 1st.
The 76-year-old tourist, Michael Graily, hailed from Great Britain, and he was holidaying in Cyprus with his 73-year-old wife, Yvonne. He sought treatment at a local medical facility due to leg cramps. According to Yvonne’s account, just ten minutes after an examination, the doctor exited the room and announced that her husband had passed away.
At the local hospital, the woman was informed about a preliminary autopsy performed on her spouse’s body. Nevertheless, upon the man’s body being transported back to the United Kingdom, it was discovered that his heart was missing. Consequently, British medical professionals are unable to ascertain the precise cause of death.
According to Cypriot authorities, the removed heart of the tourist was dispatched to a research center. The police force in Rochdale is continuing its investigation into the matter.
