Currently, the 53-year-old star is balancing married life with raising her two children: six-year-old daughter Raddix and two-year-old son Cardinal.
Diaz became a mother for the first time at 47 and admits that her primary focus now is maintaining her health and energy for as long as possible so she can see her children grow up and be present for every milestone.
According to the actress, she occasionally feels pressure concerning her age and the need to “achieve more” than other parents. However, she also observes that women who gave birth around her age often feel considerably younger, which she finds to be an unfamiliar yet intriguing experience.
Despite moments of anxiety, Diaz affirms that motherhood is the most significant and joyful aspect of her existence. She has been married to musician Benji Madden since 2015. After stepping away from acting in 2017, the actress shifted her focus entirely to her family: their daughter was born in 2019, followed by their son in 2024.
