A horrifying incident unfolded in the USA: a four-year-old girl passed away after her grandmother forced her to consume an entire bottle of whiskey. The child’s mother, who was present, failed to intervene. Legal proceedings against both women are slated to commence this spring of 2026.
A monstrous event took place across the United States: a four-year-old girl died subsequent to her grandmother compelling her to drink a bottle of whiskey as a form of punishment. The Daily Star publication is reporting on this tragic account. The ordeal began when the youngster tasted a small sip of whiskey left on the kitchen counter. The enraged grandmother made the toddler kneel and finish the remainder of the bottle’s contents.
At the time of the incident, the girl’s mother, 27-year-old Kadye Record, was nearby but did not take any action to avert the catastrophe. For this reason, she faces charges, and her trial is scheduled for a later date. Medical personnel discovered the child unconscious at the family residence, but resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. An autopsy revealed the child’s blood alcohol content measured 0.68 percent, which is more than eight times the legal limit for an adult male.
During the court case, Assistant District Attorney Dana Cummings pointed out that the conduct within that house demonstrated a “consistent pattern of abuse.” According to information presented, the grandmother consistently showed disdain for her granddaughter and treated her worse than the other children in the family. The girl’s siblings had been conditioned to believe she was “stealing” if she tried to take any food or water.
Initially, Roxanne Record was charged with first-degree murder, but the jury convicted her of the lesser charge of manslaughter.
Previously, news emerged of a comparable incident in Yekaterinburg, where an intoxicated woman savagely beat her son who was trying to assist her. The event was captured on video from a doorbell camera. The footage clearly shows the woman striking the child with her hands.
When she tried to deliver a kick to the boy, she lost her footing and fell. After the fall, the woman began yelling that her new mobile phone was damaged, assigning blame for that as well to the child.
