The updated support document on the IT giant’s website specifies that a limited quantity of PCs might undergo two, three, or even more restarts subsequent to applying an update. This situation stems from the implementation of the 2023 Secure Boot certificate update. Microsoft emphasized that users have no cause for concern regarding this matter.
The article mentions that the new 2023 Secure Boot certificates are set to supersede the older 2011 Secure Boot certificates, which are slated to expire in 2026. The company clarified that operating Windows without current certificates poses a security risk.
