It appears the Trump Mobile T1 smartphone will indeed become available commercially. Citing the company’s head, Pat O’Brien, USA Today is reporting this news. He assured the public that initial customers will receive their devices within the coming days. This confirmation arose amidst speculation that the entire endeavor might be scrapped.
Furthermore, O’Brien specified that all pre-orders previously placed will be dispatched over the course of several weeks. The device was initially unveiled eleven months ago. The Trump Mobile executive acknowledged that the rollout has encountered numerous setbacks but refrained from detailing the specific reasons behind them. He maintained that the wait has been worthwhile, as the company is offering consumers an exceptional device.
Previously, the manufacturer claimed to have secured 600,000 pre-orders, though these figures have not been substantiated. O’Brien avoided providing an exact customer count but emphasized that Trump Mobile is “extremely pleased” with the level of engagement surrounding both the brand and the new handset.
The publication also released a preview of the smartphone’s inaugural promotional video. Specifically, the footage displays the final iteration of the gadget alongside its packaging. It is anticipated that the retail package will contain a clear plastic case, a power adapter, and a gold-braided USB Type-C cable. The new product has successfully obtained certification from American regulatory bodies and has been added to Google’s list of approved hardware.
