
Liverpool has officially announced the appointment of Spanish tactician Andoni Iraola as their new head coach. The club’s press service confirmed the news.
The agreement with the 43-year-old manager will run until 2029. Prior to this move, Iraola served as the head coach of Bournemouth from June 1, 2023, to June 30, 2026. Under his guidance, the Cherries secured a sixth-place finish in the Premier League last season.
On May 30th, Dutch specialist Arne Slot departed from his role as Liverpool’s head coach. During Slot’s tenure, the Reds clinched the English league title in the 2024/25 season and finished fifth in the previous Premier League campaign.
