Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has passed away after being suspended from officiating at the 2026 World Cup.
According to ED, the cause of the official’s death has not been disclosed. Police are conducting an investigation.
Dieperink was set to serve as a video assistant at the World Cup, but a month before the tournament started, FIFA removed him following his arrest on suspicion of sexual assault involving a minor.
