Kylian Mbappé will continue to captain the French national team following Zinedine Zidane’s appointment as head coach.
According to Le Parisien, the change in management will not affect the Real Madrid forward’s status. It is noted that Zidane and Mbappé share a good relationship, so the captaincy will not be up for reconsideration.
Zidane is expected to officially take charge of Les Bleus ahead of the Nations League matches in September, where France will face Turkey and Belgium.
