CNET has conducted an evaluation of the T1 smartphone, which is marketed under the Trump Mobile brand. Following these tests, the device demonstrated performance comparable to flagship Android smartphones from approximately five years ago.
It is suspected that the device utilizes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7-series chipset, likely the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. Benchmark results indicate that the smartphone’s performance is on par with significantly older models.
According to the test outcomes, the T1 is positioned similarly to the HTC U24 Pro 5G and phones released between 2020 and 2022, such as the OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 10 Pro, and Galaxy Z Fold 2. The T1’s performance is considerably outmatched by mid-range phones from 2026, including the Google Pixel 10A, iPhone 17E, and Samsung Galaxy S25 FE.
Despite its performance, the smartphone features a triple 50 MP camera system, a 5000 mAh battery with 30W charging, and operates on Android 15 with minimal interface modifications.
Observers have pointed out that the rear panel of the device displays an American flag with 11 stripes instead of the customary 13, which deviates from the official design of the U.S. flag.
